Moderator | Quechua Teaching in Higher Education

We will discuss: Quechua Teaching in Higher Education. The First Glocal Conference will bring together Indigenous Quechua leaders, educators, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and community activists from around the world. This local and global conference will allow professionals in education, history, language policy, linguistics, literature, cultural studies, anthropology, and other disciplines to exchange ideas, experiences, and research on methodological, theoretical, pedagogical, and practical aspects from multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Elwin Huaman is a Researcher, Project Manager, and an Activist for Under-Resourced Languages. He has experience creating Knowledge Graphs and applying Semantic Web technologies in academia and industry. He has co-authored the book: Knowledge Graphs - Methodology, Tools and Selected Use Cases, and leads the QICHWABASE Knowledge Graph that supports a harmonization process of the language and knowledge of Quechua communities across the world.
